Key notes from Ross Dellenger interview
- The Senate is in session for two more weeks before the month-long recess that starts August 7. The goal is to get the bill to the Senate floor before that. It will be very tough to get the bill to the floor next week. Lindsey Graham’s funeral is next week, so that leaves about one or one and a half days of floor time. If they do reach a deal with the SEC and Big Ten this week, many expect it will come by the end of the day today or tomorrow.
