Texas A&M baseball was extremely gritty over the weekend as the Aggies concluded the regular season by taking the final two games of the series from Mississippi State to snap a short two-series slide. Now, the Aggies enter the postseason with some momentum.

Resilient and gritty.

Those are two words that would describe Texas A&M’s performance over the weekend against a very good Mississippi State ballclub. The Aggie players and staff could have cut their losses and phoned it in after a brutal beatdown on Thursday. Instead, they buckled down and delivered two wins in the final two games that could lock them into a top-eight national seed.
