Ball Five: Shorthanded Aggies drop series at Ole Miss

Despite being bitten by the injury bug, Texas A&M still held serve by winning one game on the road at Ole Miss. However, given their strikeout woes and short outings from starting pitchers, the Aggies might feel as though they should've won the series in Oxford.

It was another weekend of razor-thin margins in the SEC for the Aggies in Oxford. Despite losing the series, a blowout win in game two showed what this Texas A&M squad can be at its best. The pitching was solid and limited the Ole Miss offense in all three games. In contrast, the offense was below its standard in the two losses while also putting up one of its best performances of the season in the lone win.
