David Nuño: Gavin Grahovac & Jorian Wilson

  • The SEC Player of the Week: Gavin Grahovac. He blasted four home runs, 12 RBI, seven runs, two stolen bases, four walks, hit by a pitch with a .600 on-base percentage and a 1.600 slugging percentage. In the Saturday contest, he went 2-for-5 with a pair of home runs. He had the grand slam on Sunday.
     
  • Next one, Jorian Wilson, SEC Freshman of the Week. He went 6-for-12 with two homers, a double, three runs, four RBI, a walk, a stolen base and also hit a homer against HCU in the midweek. 
     
  • Debora Cherono claimed the 3,000m steeplechase title on Friday at the Raleigh Relays.

Olin Buchanan: Gavin Grahovac & Jorian Wilson

  • Grahovac went 4-for-10, and all four hits were home runs.
     
  • You don’t have a week like that, maybe, ever. But he does. Great baseball players will go their whole careers and maybe never have a week like that.
     
  • I like to watch Wilson. He is demanding more playing time.
