* Cotton Bowl is special for him. Worked in Waco in the early '90s and did first Cotton Bowl in '98 when A&M played UCLA. Excited for the game on Friday in what should be a great matchup between the Aggies and Sooners.

* Sad to see A&M leave the Big 12. Loves Kyle Field and all that A&M is about and too bad he can't do their games at this time.

* On paper, aside from the national championship game, this is the best matchup of the bowl season.

* Lots of storylines in this game and the Aggies' move to the SEC impacts this game a great deal.

* Loved meeting Johnny Manziel and very impressed by his personality. Magnetic leader and winner, with great players around him.

* Hopes for A&M that Joeckel and Matthews come back for their senior year to see what A&M can do in 2013.

* Future is so bright with Kevin Sumlin at the helm. Sumlin brings passion and intensity, but an ease as well.

* Nicknames are always great with with Teddy Ballgame and Johnny Football, it's a broadcaster's dream. Exciting to see how bright the future is of college football, with Johnny leading the charge.

* OU's secondary is very good and if OU can get pressure on Johnny, they have the secondary and can hang with Manziel and the A&M passing game.

* Landry Jones is the forgotten man in this matchup but he's thrown for "a billion" yards in his career. They have great receivers and the A&M defense is really going to be challenged. OU feels that they can score on the Aggies.

* "Rise and Fire" clothing line is up and rolling and it's been great. It's a chance to be creative.

* Doing some hoops again this year. Doing a game between Iowa and Michigan in Ann Arbor on Sunday and doing some Pac-12 and Big Ten games. Fox is also trying to get the Catholic Seven schools on TV as well in the future.
