Men’s Basketball
Texas A&M forward Rashaun Agee was named SEC Men's Basketball Player of the Week. He had 18 points, 15 rebounds and a career-high seven assists against Georgia on Saturday.
The Aggies take on Alabama tonight at 6 p.m. CT.
Softball
Texas A&M opens the 2026 season Thursday, Feb. 5, hosting ACU at 4:30 p.m. and Utah State at 7 p.m. in the Aggie Classic at Davis Diamond.
Baseball
The No. 25 Texas A&M baseball team will host a free open scrimmage from Olsen Field on Saturday, with first pitch slated for 1 p.m. Aggie baseball opens the 2026 season on Friday, the 13th, against Tennessee Tech here at home.
Speaking of some preseason awards, Chris Hacopian and Nico Partida were named to Baseball America’s preseason national award watchlist as player of the year and freshman of the year. The Aggies also had a nation-best, tying four players selected to Baseball America's Preseason All-America teams, those being Gavin Grahovac, Caden Sorrell, Chris Hacopian and Shane Sdao.
Men’s Golf
Aaron Pounds of Aggie men’s golf led their team and finished seven-under 135, which tied him for first place after 36 holes. This marked Pounds’ second first-place tie of the season and his fourth top-five finish of the year. The team finished the Sea Best Invitational in third-place and will now travel to Hawaii for the John A. Burns Intercollegiate.
Women’s Tennis
The Texas A&M women's tennis team, led by Mark Weaver, reeled in the second-best 2026 signing class in the nation.
