Baseball
Three Texas A&M baseball athletes earned a spot on the 2025 ABCA. Third baseman Wyatt Henseler was selected to the first team, pitcher Justin Lamkin and outfielder Jace LaViolette were named to the second team. This marks the fourth straight season the Aggies have had multiple players earn honors.

Along with this honor, Jace LaViolette was also named a Third Team All-American by Perfect Game as well as the NCBWA.

Track & Field
Victor Kibiego

Aleksandr Solovev was the standout on Wednesday as he won the men's pole vault national title. He broke his own school record to capture A&M's second-ever outdoor title in the event and first since 1980, jumping 5.78m. This mark also stands as the fourth-highest title-winning mark in championship history.

Ahmad Robinson added to the group, advancing to the finals, securing his spot in the 400m.

Sam Whitmarsh joined the group after he placed second in his heat in the 800m. This is now back-to-back years with a finals appearance from him.

The 400m hurdle duo of Ja'Qualon Scott and Bryce McCray punched each of their tickets to the finals. Closing it out with the men’s 4x400m relay team.

The women raced in the prelims last night and had five qualifiers moving onto the finals.

Their 4x100m relay team advanced to the finals, placing second in their heat. Debora Cherono qualified for Saturday’s final in the 3,000m steeplechase, placing second in her heat and breaking her own school record for the fourth time this year.

The next two qualifiers were Jaiya Covington in the 100m hurdles and Jasmine Montgomery, who placed first in the 200m.

The last qualifier was the women’s 4x400m relay, as they came back from fifth place to finish in second and move onto the finals.

Today, Sofia Yakushina races in the heptathlon, and the men race in their finals as they are currently sitting in sixth place.
