Written in 1920, this song has not only swayed generations of Fighting Texas Aggies to proudly boast the Maroon and White, but it literally sways the western deck of Kyle Field during games, tailgates and friendly gatherings of whooping Ags around the country.

It's another shining example of one of the many treasures that binds us together as an Aggie family. Whether they be our blood relatives or those that became family during our time on campus, Aggie fans sing it with the same pride and conviction no matter what. Daughters sing it with their dads, mothers with their sons. Groups of college roommates sing it standing arm in arm, as do long-time comrades who met on campus decades ago.
