On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Live, Kaylee Dreyer took us Around Aggieland with the latest on all things Texas A&M, from the Maroon & White Game to the diamond sports as baseball and softball both won their series. Plus, updates on Texas A&M track & field.
Football
The 2025 Maroon & White Game ended with the White team claiming a 19-7 victory Saturday afternoon. Freshman Marco Jones led the white team’s defense with five sacks and a total of six tackles for loss.
Baseball
The Texas A&M baseball team took Game 1 vs. No. 2 Arkansas, 7-4, and Game 3, winning 9-2, as Jace LaViolette hit four home runs throughout the series, along with seven RBIs. This series win marked the Aggies' third consecutive SEC series win and their ninth win in the last 10 games.
Softball
Despite a loss on Friday vs. Missouri, A&M softball won its fifth consecutive series after marking its third doubleheader sweep of the season. On Thursday, winning Game 1, 7-5, and Game 2, 4-3 in nine innings.
Track & Field
Texas A&M track & field won 12 of the possible 22 events on the day and added five all-time marks as well as seven personal bests at the Oregon Team Invitational. Debora Cherono was one of the Aggies’ standout athletes as she broke the women’s 1500-meter school record on Saturday.
