On Friday’s edition of TexAgs Live, Kaylee Dreyer took us Around Aggieland with the latest on all things Texas A&M, from the diamond sports as baseball and softball both won yesterday. Plus, updates on Texas A&M's volleyball new staff addition and women's golf.
Baseball
Aggie baseball won their first game vs. No. 2 Arkansas 7-4, which makes their eighth straight win and third over a top-two opponent on the road.
Softball
The Aggies had a doubleheader yesterday, winning both games. They took down Missouri in Game 1, 7-5, and Game 2, 4-3 in nine innings. This marks their 14th straight win and eighth straight SEC win.
Volleyball
Jamie Morrison and the Aggies return Joe Skinner to the staff now as a full-timer with 14 years of NCAA experience, and he is now the director of analytics.
Women’s Golf
The No. 16 Texas A&M women’s golf team finished out the SEC Championship, placing 10th overall. Next up, they head to the NCAA Tournament to cap off their season.
Swimming & Diving
Texas A&M's Jaxon Bowshire ended an impressive season by being named SEC Male Freshman Diver of the Year, while also earning All-SEC First Team and SEC All-Freshman Team accolades.
