On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Live, Kaylee Dreyer took us Around Aggieland, delivering updates on all things Texas A&M, from the diamond sports to women’s tennis. Plus, track & field's 4x400-meter relay team taking the fastest time in the world.


Baseball
The Texas A&M baseball team won the series against No. 1 Tennessee, hitting 11 home runs and outscoring them 26-9 in the two doubleheader games. ​​The series victory also marked Texas A&M's first-ever win against a No. 1 team on the road.

Softball
The No. 4 Texas A&M softball team run-ruled No. 16 Georgia, 8-0, in six innings in game one of the doubleheader, while Emiley Kennedy registered her 500th career strikeout and became the 10th Aggie to reach this milestone. They then went on to take the series, winning 12-5 in the second game.

The Aggies will play their final game vs. Georgia today at 5:00 p.m.

Track & Field
The Texas A&M track & field men's 4x400-meter relay team consisting of Antonie Nortje, Cutler Zamzow, Kimar Farquharson and Auhmad Robinson took the world-leading time of 3:02.15 in the event on the final day of the Florida Relays.

The Aggies will now return home to host the 44 Farms Team Invitational on April 11-12.

Women’s Tennis
The No. 2 ranked Aggie women’s tennis team took down Mississippi State 4-0 on Friday and Alabama 4-0 on Sunday to earn their sixth and seventh sweep in SEC play and 67th consecutive win at home.
