On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Live, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as the spring sports are underway. Men's basketball and women's basketball wrap up their SEC slate as baseball and softball season is underway.


Basketball
Buzz Williams' No. 12 Aggies have dropped their fourth straight contest to Florida, 89-70. 

A&M will play host to No. 1 Auburn on Tuesday at 8 p.m.

Women’s Basketball
Senior Day at Reed Arena saw Texas A&M's 2024-2025 regular season come to a close on a sour note as Arkansas beat the Aggies 80-71.

As a No. 16 seed in the SEC Tournament, A&M’s first-round game will be on Wednesday, March 5, at 10 a.m. CT against No. 9 seed Tennessee.

The Lady Vols beat the Aggies by 13 earlier this season before Coulibaly went down with her injury.

Baseball
Michael Earley’s Aggies went 1-2 this weekend at the Astros Foundation College Classic, capping off the weekend with a 14-4 win over Rice.

They will host UTSA on Tuesday. 

Softball
Playing six games in four days in front of the 12th Man at Davis Diamond, Trisha Ford's Fightin' Texas Aggies are tuned up for SEC play after a 5-1 showing in the Texas A&M Invitational.

They will open with No. 3 Florida next weekend. 

Track & Field
The Texas A&M men’s track & field team won the program’s first SEC Indoor Championships title, in a final-race thriller Saturday evening.

The Aggie men sealed their first SEC indoor title at home, as the men’s 4x400m relay anchored by Kimar Farquharson ensured the team’s win. A&M’s men concluded the championships with 107.5 points and nine medals, including five gold, three silver and one bronze.

The women’s team concluded the meet in fifth, and both squads secured the Cotton Holdings Lone Star Showdown trophy as they placed higher than the Longhorns in the team standings.

Women’s Tennis
The No. 5 Texas A&M women’s tennis team pushed its home winning streak to 62 and 63-straight matches after downing Arkansas, 7-0 and downed No. 12 Oklahoma, 6-1 on Sunday.

Texas A&M hits the road to face No. 6 Auburn on Friday, March 7 at 5 p.m. 

Men’s Tennis
The No. 12 Texas A&M men’s tennis team fell to No. 39 Arkansas, 4-1 and then claimed a back-and-forth tussle against the No. 26 Oklahoma Sooners, 4-3

The Aggies are back home to host the Auburn Tigers on March 6 at 6 p.m.

Men’s Golf
The Texas A&M men’s golf team finished Sunday’s opening round of the Southern Highlands Collegiate tied with No. 12 Illinois for sixth place.

Women’s Golf
The Aggies return to the course at the Clover Cup March 10-12 in Litchfield Park, Arizona.

Equestrian
The Aggies return home to the Hildebrand Equine Complex on Saturday, March 8 at noon for Senior Day against No. 1 Auburn.

Swimming and Diving
The Aggies are in action, hosting the Last Chance Meet Feb. 27 through March 1.
