Former Washington cornerback Jordan Shaw has announced his intentions to transfer to Texas A&M. After a redshirt year at Indiana, the Los Angeles native started eight games for the Huskies in 2024, making 35 total tackles, four tackles for loss, a fumble recovery and six PBUs.

This is A&M’s 12th transfer addition.

Men’s Basketball
Meeting on the hardwood for the first time as SEC foes, 13th-ranked Texas A&M took the first installment of the Cotton Holdings Lone Star Showdown behind a commanding second half. Zhuric Phelps led all scorers with 18 points in the rivalry renewal.

Next up, A&M will travel to Oklahoma on Wed, Jan. 8 at 8 p.m. on SEC Network.

Women’s Basketball
Facing a 16-point first-half deficit, Texas A&M posted its largest comeback in seven years and first top-25 win in the Joni Taylor era over No. 25 Ole Miss, 60-58.

A&M's defensive efforts held the Rebels to just 17 second-half points and without a field goal in the whole fourth quarter.

Solè Williams’ 18 points set a new season-high and had a massive 3-pointer late.

Next up, A&M will face No. 2 South Carolina on Thurs. Jan. 9 at 4 p.m. on ESPN2.

Soccer
All-American Athletic Conference forward Leah Diaz will join the 2025 squad as a junior after two stellar seasons at Tulsa. She appeared in 38 of Tulsa's 39 matches over the span, including 29 starts. She scored eight goals this past season.
