Around Aggieland (11/18)
On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Live, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as the fall continues. Football beat New Mexico State, men's and women's basketball continues non-conference play and much more.
Football
The 12th Man showed up for a non-conference matchup between No. 15 Texas A&M and New Mexico State as the Maroon & White posted a 38-3 victory on Saturday night.
With that, the SEC officially declared it a 6:30 p.m. CT kickoff at Jordan-Hare as the Aggies travel to Auburn this weekend.
Men’s Basketball
After an emphatic win over No. 21 Ohio State on Friday night, A&M turns its attention to Southern this Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Women’s Basketball
The Aggies dominated the glass and shot nearly 50 percent from the floor en route to a 75-54 win over Northwestern State. Jada Malone has 24 as the Aggies eye a more difficult part of their non-conference schedule.
Next week, the Aggies will travel to the Bahamas for the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament. They’ll face Villanova on Sunday in their first game.
Volleyball
The Aggies had some time off and are preparing for a 6:30 p.m. tilt against Georgia at Reed Arena They currently sit at 16-7 on the year and 7-6 in the Southeastern Conference with three more matches to go.
Women’s Tennis
This week, three A&M women’s tennis players will be participating in NCAA Individual Championship action in Waco, Texas. Mary Stoiana (No. 1 overall seed), Nicole Khirin and Daria Smetannikov were invited.
