Texas A&M did not play a football game in Week 7, but the Aggies still moved up from No. 15 to No. 14 in the latest Associated Press rankings. The Maroon & White sit at 5-1 overall and 3-0 in SEC play, and the Aggies travel to Starkville this week.

  • On Saturday: Mississippi State — 3:15 p.m. on SEC Network

Soccer
A&M has suffered back-to-back losses as the Aggies fell to Alabama on Sunday night in Tuscaloosa, 1-0. At 8-7 overall and 3-4 in conference, the Maroon & White have just three regular-season matches remaining.

The Aggies return to Ellis Field Friday for a 7 p.m. match against the LSU Tigers.

The A&M volleyball team fell just short in a five-set battle with LSU Sunday afternoon at the Maravich Assembly Center, 3-2 (18-25, 25-14, 25-20, 14-25, 15-10).

The Maroon & White return home to host Florida Friday evening in Reed Arena with first serve set for 8 p.m.
