On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Live, Callie Garner took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as fall sports continue. Football takes on Mississippi State, volleyball dropped one to LSU and much more.
Football
Texas A&M did not play a football game in Week 7, but the Aggies still moved up from No. 15 to No. 14 in the latest Associated Press rankings. The Maroon & White sit at 5-1 overall and 3-0 in SEC play, and the Aggies travel to Starkville this week.

Soccer
A&M has suffered back-to-back losses as the Aggies fell to Alabama on Sunday night in Tuscaloosa, 1-0. At 8-7 overall and 3-4 in conference, the Maroon & White have just three regular-season matches remaining.
The Aggies return to Ellis Field Friday for a 7 p.m. match against the LSU Tigers.
Volleyball
The A&M volleyball team fell just short in a five-set battle with LSU Sunday afternoon at the Maravich Assembly Center, 3-2 (18-25, 25-14, 25-20, 14-25, 15-10).
The Maroon & White return home to host Florida Friday evening in Reed Arena with first serve set for 8 p.m.
Women’s Tennis
Texas A&M women’s tennis senior Mary Stoiana earned her first professional circuit singles title with a win at the ITF W75 – Edmond Open, finishing her run with Sunday’s 7-5, 6-3 victory over Alana Smith.
Men’s Golf
The No. 18. Texas A&M men’s golf team heads east to participate in the inaugural Qubein Cup at prestigious Sedgefield Country Club Monday and Tuesday.
