Week 5 is behind us, and we were a yard short of glory. After the brutality that was RJ Harvey’s discounted square, I am seeking revenge on the boards this time. I’ve got plenty of plays for you in Week 6.

*Numbers are subject to change*

Aggie of the Week

RB Le’Veon Moss
MORE THAN 0.5 Rush + Receiving TD
I’m done guessing on these Texas A&M wide receivers. Le’Veon Moss continues to look like the best and most consistent player on this offense. His rushing yards may be dependent on the game script and whether or not the Aggies are playing from behind. One thing I can guarantee, though, is that Moss is going to get his touches in the red zone when the Ags get there. While he hasn’t gotten a touchdown in his last three games, he is due.

Lineup of the Week

Le’Veon Moss, RB, Texas A&M
MORE THAN 0.5 Rush + Receiving TD
Yes, I’m throwing my Aggie of the Week into my Lineup of the Week.

Cade McConnell, QB, UTEP
MORE THAN 199.5 Passing Yards
If you don’t know who UTEP head coach Scotty Walden is, I hope you do soon. He is an absolute mastermind when it comes to scheming his receivers open and giving his less-talented teams a fighting chance. This number is likely so low because of what Nebraska’s defensive line did to terrorize this inferior offensive line. Sam Houston has a decent defensive line, but the Bearkats have been susceptible to the pass this season. I believe that this number is way too low.

Nate Noel, RB, Missouri
MORE THAN 71.5 Rushing Yards
Unfortunately, Aggies are not going to want to hear this: Nate Noel is a good football player. The Appalachian State transfer has assumed the role as the led back in this offense and has accumulated 100+ rushing yards these last two weeks. I understand that this was against inferior competition and that Ja’Quinden Jackson was stalled by the Aggies. However, this Missouri offensive line is a much better unit and, as a team, is running the ball over 55% of the time against FBS opponents this season (top ⅓ amongst all schools). I like Noel in this spot.

Ricky White III, WR, UNLV
MORE THAN 80.5 Receiving Yards
After struggling the first few weeks of the season, UN(i)LV has made a change at quarterback, and Ricky White III already looks great again. Hajj-Malik Williams is the new QB in town and was the all-time leading passer for Campbell University. His 13-of-16 passing last week certainly outweighs Matthew Sluka’s 43 percent completion percentage on the year. This number should be higher, and I believe that PrizePicks hasn’t caught up yet.

Joey Hobert, WR, Texas State
MORE THAN 0.5 Rush + Receiving TD
Joey Hobert is a fantastic receiver for Texas State who has found an even more expanded role in this offense with the departure of Ashtyn Hawkins to Baylor in the offseason. Troy has brought in a new offensive-minded head coach in Gerad Parker, and it has hurt the defense greatly. They are in the bottom 30 for many defensive metrics this season. In a game Vegas is implying that Texas State will score five touchdowns, I’ll take Hobert to be one of those.

Other Dawson Selections

Haynes King, QB, Georgia Tech - MORE THAN 243.5 Passing Yards
Ismail Mahdi, RB, Texas State - MORE THAN 76.5 Rushing Yards
Jaden Smith, WR, UTEP - MORE THAN 43.5 Receiving Yards
Bryson Nesbit, TE, North Carolina - MORE THAN 43.5 Receiving Yards
Ja’Kobi Lane, WR, USC - MORE THAN 51.5 Receiving Yards
