On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Live, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as fall sports continue. Football took down Arkansas, volleyball secured its first conference win and much more.

Football
The No. 25 Texas A&M football team picked up its fourth straight win on Saturday afternoon, defeating Bowling Green, 21-17.

Notables:

  • The Aggies have now won 12 of their last 13 games against Arkansas.

  • Marcel Reed passed and rushed for a touchdown in the same game for the second time in his career, with the other effort coming two games ago against Florida.

  • Le’Veon Moss went over the 1,000-yard mark in career, ending the contest with 1,069 rushing yards to crack the A&M top 50 at No. 49. Moss rushed for a career-high 117 yards on 13 carries for an average of 9.0 yards per tote.

  • Dezz Ricks impressed in the first start of his career, tallying five tackles and his first interception in the second quarter.

  • Nic Scourton brought the pressure as all four of his tackles were for loss, including 2.0 solo sacks. His second sack resulted in a game-sealing forced fumble.

The Aggies will return back to Kyle Field to take on Missouri this Saturday at 11 a.m.

Volleyball
Aggie volleyball fell to Texas on Friday, but bounced back after being down two sets and rallied back to beat Missouri on Sunday afternoon at Reed Arena. With the victory, the Maroon & White are now 10-2 on the season and 1-1 in the SEC after one week of conference play.

A&M’s first SEC road trip of the season to Auburn on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 2 p.m.

Soccer
Following a huge 4-1 victory over No. 8 Auburn, Texas A&M soccer traveled to Austin as the "Lone Star Showdown" continues. Unfortunately for Coach G & Co, the Aggies fell 2-0 as the Longhorns got the upper hand in the renewed rivalry.

A&M will travel to Ole Miss (5-8, 0-4). Friday’s match will kick at 7 p.m.

Men’s Golf
The No. 19. Texas A&M men's golf team continues action in a challenging fall slate when the Aggies tackle the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational Monday and Tuesday.
