Lone Star Lookback: Hall of Famer Dave Elmendorf opens his scrapbook
Welcome to Lone Star Lookback! Each week, a former player or coach will join David Nuño to reminisce on Texas A&M's historic rivalry with the Texas Longhorns as the game makes an emphatic return on Nov. 30 at Kyle Field.
Joining us for our first episode is Dave Elmendorf, an All-American safety in 1970 before being drafted by the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Rams, ultimately electing to play professional football. You can hear Elmendorf on Saturdays on the Texas A&M football radio broadcast as a color commentator opposite play-by-play voice Andrew Monaco.
