jahdae walker is grossly underrated and personally i believe he has enough speed to get deep. he is faster than ausbon was. he did struggle with some drops early but overcame those to become a pretty reliable receiver by the end of the season. this will be his second season vs SEC competition and with a healthy weigman he could really put up some legit numbers.

Key notes from Olin’s thoughts on Walker
- He is good Jahdae, Jahmorrow, Jahyesterday.
- I like him because he didn’t come out and make a huge splash right away, but when you look at those 590 yards receiving, in his last four out of five games, he had 80 yards receiving. He is a productive guy. He’s also a tough guy that can run through the middle.
- Last year, if we’re honest, he had a few drops, but I think he cleaned that up. He is just a good player.
- Again, this is what I really admire about the guy. He never got discouraged, and he stayed at it. Then, when he was needed, this guy produced. I like him a lot.
- I’ve made the comparison before. He is kind of in the Jhamon Ausbon kind of mode. I don't know if he's the guy who is going to consistently beat guys deep, but if I need somebody who will go across the middle, not be afraid and make a tough catch, it’s him.
- He’s a tall kid and a good target. If he’s your third receiver, and he may even be No. 2, and he’s producing like that, then all of the concerns about the receiver condition were unnecessary.
