2025 Hitchcock wide receiver Kelshaun Johnson commits to Texas A&M

Mike Elko and Holmon Wiggins have locked down one of the state’s most electric playmakers today as Hitchcock slot receiver Kelshaun Johnson‍ has announced his commitment to Texas A&M.

The 5-foot-11, 165-pounder is the 19th verbal pledge for the Aggies in this cycle.

Johnson is electric with the ball in his hands. It’s almost like a souped-up Ainias Smith when you watch his short area quickness, elite change of direction and his knack for finding space. That suddenness is also a key contributor in his ability to create space at the tops of routes.

A small-town kid, he also displays some real toughness and grit in his game. 

Kelshaun raked in offers from across the country, but he ultimately chose Texas A&M over Texas, USC, Arkansas, Florida and Oregon.
