Lancaster (CA) Quartz Hill CB Adonyss Currie commits to Texas A&M
The Aggies have gone back out to the West Coast to grab their latest commitment in the class of 2025 as Lancaster (CA) Quartz Hill CB Adonyss Currie has made his verbal pledge to Texas A&M.
A 6-foot-2, 170-pounder, Currie made multiple trips to College Station this spring. Those visits got the ball rolling in a major way for Friday’s announcement.
Currie’s wiry, long frame combined with his elite athleticism are just a couple of the traits that have made him one of the top defensive prospects in California this cycle. On tape, he shows great ball skills as well as a real willingness to tackle in run support. Currie has also logged some noteworthy times on the track, highlighted by a personal best 10.8 in the 100 meters.

Overall, this is Texas A&M’s 12th commitment in the class. Currie chooses the Aggies over offers from across the country, including Miami, Washington, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Florida and many others.
