On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Radio, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as No. 1 Aggie baseball took the series at Alabama, No. 12 softball swept Ole Miss in their final home weekend and much more.


Football
In Texas A&M’s spring game, he Maroon defeated the White team, 24-10.

Football Recruiting 
Texas A&M and Mike Elko added to its fall roster with the addition of former Utah offensive lineman Kolinu’u Faaiu. Starting 11 games in 2023 with the Utes, Faaiu is yet another experienced piece added to Adam Cushing's line of scrimmage.

Texas A&M has landed another big commitment in its 2025 class as Bridgeland OL Jonte Newman has announced his intentions to join Mike Elko & Co. Choosing the Aggies over the likes of Oklahoma, Texas and Alabama, Newman is known for his great power and agility.

Basketball
Buzz Williams & Co dipped into the transfer portal and added Nebraska guard C.J. Wilcher. Wilcher comes to Aggieland with one year of eligibility. 

Baseball
No. 1 Texas A&M fell short of the sweep against Alabama but did take yet another series on Friday. 

The Aggies return home to Blue Bell Park Tuesday, April 23 for a midweek contest against Houston at 6 p.m.

Softball
After resuming Saturday's contest on Sunday, No. 12 Texas A&M won two against Ole Miss to complete the sweep and earn their sixth SEC series victory. Additionally, for the first time ever, Aggie softball has recorded three conference series sweeps in one season.

They will host Houston at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Davis Diamond, before traveling to Sam Houston on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Equestrian
The No. 4 Texas A&M equestrian team season came to an end following an 11-9 defeat to No. 1 TCU Friday afternoon at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida.

Women’s Tennis
The Aggies defeated Vanderbilt 4-0 on Friday and then turned around and beat Florida 4-2 on Saturday, lost to Georgia in the SEC Championship.

Track & Field
The Texas A&M track & field team battled the elements on its way to 17 event wins at the Alumni Muster meet to close out its home slate at E.B. Cushing Stadium.
