Around Aggieland (3/29)
On Friday’s edition of TexAgs Radio, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as baseball and softball play three-game sets with Auburn and No. 7 LSU, respectively.
Baseball
No. 4 Texas A&M claimed the series opener over Auburn on Thursday night, 9-7, behind a dominant relief outing from Evan Aschenbeck. The Aggies improved to 23-3 on the season and 4-3 in conference play with the win over the Tigers.
They hope to claim the series tonight at 6:00 p.m.
Softball
Despite Emiley Kennedy's strong performance in the circle, No. 12 Texas A&M fell in eight innings to No. 7 LSU after a walk-off home run from Taylor Pleasants. With Thursday's series-opening loss, the Aggies drop to 28-5 on the season and 8-2 in conference play.
The Aggies look to even the series on Friday. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT.

The Texas A&M track & field team splits travel this weekend between the Battle on the Bayou in Baton Rouge, and Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto.
