Football
Ravens signined franchise DT Justin Madubuike to a four-year, $98 million deal that includes $75.5 million total in guarantees and $53.5 million at signing.
Baseball
Homers were hit and the zone was dominated as seventh-ranked Texas A&M marched to another win on Sunday to remain undefeated and sweep the series vs. Rhode Island, which included some Olsen Magic on Sunday.
One final tune-up remains before the Aggies enter conference play as they host Sam Houston State on Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
Softball
No. 19 Texas A&M escaped a late threat on Sunday and topped No. 22 South Carolina on Sunday afternoon, 2-1, as Trisha Ford claimed her first top-25 sweep in Aggieland.
Not playing a midweek game, the Aggies will have some time off before facing No. 23 Mississippi State in Starkville next weekend. The series begins on Friday, with first pitch set for 4 p.m. CT.
Basketball
Keeping hope alive for admission into the NCAA Tournament, Texas A&M dominated Ole Miss in Oxford to close the regular season at 9-9 in conference play. Manny Obaseki finished with a career-high 25 points and three other Aggies scored in double figures.
The Aggies are currently in that No. 3 spot of the “First Four Out.” They will play Ole Miss again in the SEC Tournament on Thursday.
Women’s basketball
Aicha Coulibaly scored a career-best 32 points, yet more was needed from Texas A&M as top-seeded South Carolina advanced to the SEC Tournament semifinals, 79-68. The Aggies now await their fate, hoping for an NCAA Tournament bid in Joni Taylor's second year in Aggieland.
A&M sits as one of the “Last Four In.”
Track & Field
The Aggies wrapped up competition at the NCAA Indoor Championships on Saturday night as the men’s squad placed sixth with 24 points and the women took 14th with 16.5 points.
A&M racked up 10 first-team All-America honors on day two as they closed out the indoor season.
