I've gotta say, Braden is one of the most well-spoken, thoughtful interviewees I've ever heard, regardless of athletic status. He reminds me a lot of Henry Coleman in that regard. I love that he's enjoyed his time here so far and hope we give him more of the same love as the season progresses!

Braden is awesome, and this team is going to be fun as hell to watch all season long. Getting him pushed us from Omaha contenders to one of the very few teams in the nation where you say to yourself, "If they don't make a legitimate run at the title, I'll be shocked."

Gives you a tiny glimpse into how much time that guy chooses to dedicate to the game. ABs from the right side, fielding drills, ABs from the left side and then pitching work before and after. ...there's a lot of people that have talent, but not many that have talent and the fortitude to put in that extra amount of effort.
