Texas A&M adds former Purdue TE Garrett Miller via transfer portal
Texas A&M has added a big-bodied tight end to its transfer portal haul as native Texan Garrett Miller has announced his intentions to continue his collegiate career in Aggieland.
A 6-foot-5, 250-pound product of Round Rock High, Miller announced his transfer from Purdue on Dec. 14. Mike Elko offered that same day.
This past season was Miller's most productive as a Boilermaker. He hauled in 30 catches for 243 yards and a pair of touchdowns in 2023. In his career, he's played in 33 games and nabbed 51 total receptions. He missed the entirety of the 2022 season with an injury. The vast majority of his production up to this point has come in his last two healthy seasons (2021, 2023). He's also been a special teams contributor at various points in his tenure in West Lafayette.
Overall, Miller is Mike Elko's sixth transfer portal addition and his first at tight end.
