Apex Performance of the Week: A&M's Weigman, Cooper & Walker
In this week's Apex Performance of the Week, we highlight Texas A&M's Conner Weigman, Edgerrin Cooper and Jahdae Walker for their showings against Miami on Saturday. Weigman stood out, completing 31-of-53 passes for 336 yards and three total touchdowns.
David Nuño’s Performance of the Week: Conner Weigman
- Conner Weigman's numbers were solid. The Aggies made adjustments in the second half. Bobby Petrino found ways to get the playmakers the ball. Weigman was 31-for-53 with 336 yards and three total touchdowns. He did have two turnovers, but one wasn't his fault.
- I want to throw in another because I thought Sam Mathews set an opening tone for the game. Unfortunately, that tone only lasted for eight minutes. I liked that he made that play on the opening kickoff.
Olin Buchanan’s Performance of the Week: Edgerrin Cooper & Jahdae Walker
- Edgerrin Cooper played decent. He had six or seven tackles and recovered a fumble that led to a touchdown.
- Jahdae Walker made an impact with a blocked punt.
