Layden is a great speaker, granted he's gotten to practice what to say after a loss many time before! But he needs to be benched as soon as possible! Watch the film and you'll see he can't get any push and quite frankly he's always thrown on his ass or into the backfield

And in Tallahassee they are saying Thank you so much Texas AM oil boys for ridding us of that lard of coaching ineptness. Now we see why they shed no tears when he fled for the big pay day. What university iis stupid enough to recruit and pay 70 plus million to a coach coming off of a losing record at the school he is currently coaching? Theirs a bigger problem than Jimbo at Texas AM, its the decision making process when pursuing and hiring coaches. Unless that gets fixed history may repeat itself post Jimbo. Jimbo won a NC at FSU because be had a generational QB whose talent level could compensate for Jimbos mediocre coaching and game management . He never won squat without Winston. Texas AM really should cut their losses and move on.

Press guys are fine, Jimbo is gteat at deflecting, doesn't matter what question you ask.

What I'd love to see from the press are non-questions, such as...

Q1: Moose Muhammad always makes plays when he's in the game. But he's rarely in the game. That's just stupid.

Q2: Your defense is the most passive, tentative defense I've maybe ever seen.

Q3: You're really good at memorizing all the players on the other team before the game amd then talking about them on your radio show. Your memorization time would probably be better used coaching your own players how to beat those memorized players.

And so on...

On that note, I would LOVE to hear someone cut him off mid game recap…"Hey coach, we all watched the game, we've got some questions for you if you're done with your recap."

I agree he's not the strongest olineman we have. But that doesn't diminish the respect I have for him as a representative and spokesman he is at press conferences.
