Jimbo Fisher announced yesterday that Joe Schaefer will be the guy who will replace coach Terry Price. He was a defensive coordinator at Youngstown State.

Recruiting
The Houston pipeline continues as Houston Legacy offensive lineman Josh Moses announced his commitment to Texas A&M. Moses is the first member of the 2025 class and chooses Jimbo Fisher & Co. over Texas, Penn State and Houston.
Basketball
On Friday, the Texas A&M men's basketball team took their talents to Davis Diamond as they played in their first-ever charity softball game benefitting Buzz's Bunch.
Buzz and Co. are now headed to the Bahamas and will play three games against international competition while participating in various team-building activities and cultural experiences.
Soccer
Soccer is officially back at Ellis Field as Texas A&M took down SMU in its exhibition match on Sunday night, 2-0. The Aggies outshot the Mustangs 20-4, and Maile Hayes and Jazmine Wilkinson scored their first goals of the 2023 season. The Aggies next play in their second and final exhibition match against Texas State on Friday, Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. CT.
