Boots said what I saw: his offensive game was not "ON," per se, but he helped out in so many other ways. No, he was not perfect. Far from it. But he was actively perfecting his game (for the night), and his teammates trusted him. It's like the questions asked in the press conference and the answers (I can't recall who said it): somebody is going to step-up on any given night.
There is a level of trust that has been built since Christmas, and it is elite... one of the best levels of team trust - if not THE best - in the nation. Shoot, there aren't too many NBA teams that have this level of trust and love for each other, and that includes bench players.
