Looch and Texags are Pate State Material! Josh is the best, I'm glad he was able to come in studio.

Lucci still saying something about a close game and maybe just maybe we can pull it off, I hope its his job talking and not his brain.

the 1984 season was very similar to this year

we lost our starting QB; lost 5 out of 6 in a row (thank goodness for Rice) and had really poor weather for most of the games (rained during Tech, Baylor, and Rice games and Arkansas weather was cold with sleet and freezing rain.

The team finished with a 6-5 record by beating ranked TCU and tu to finish the season, and the following year we went 10-2 with a conference championship and Cotton Bowl victory.

That was a hell of a show. Hadn't ever listened to pate too much before besides snippets here and there. Great discussion with some fascinating talking points, especially talking about the future of college football as it pertains to nil and the conferences.

Good show. I'm liking Josh Pate's even-handedness more and more... even the honest takes of the Aggies this year. Can't argue his points.

I've heard him say this point before, and while emotionally I'm thinking, "Nah!... it'll never happen!," but Josh repeated it here: just wait and see the fruit basket turnover in the upcoming Portal activity. It portends being hotter than a $2 pistol. I just hope A&M can weather that moment well. We'll see.

Gig'em, Aggies!
Beat the HELL Outta LSU!!

Someone asked about this. I found it and bumping because it is a reasonable conversation that talks through "what happened" this year. Friendly to Texas A&M but direct and transparent on what they really think.
