Don't we have 3 capable back-up running backs behind Achane? If so, here's a suggestion (only a suggestion since I'm not a high paid coach),...with only one runningback (Achane) in the back field it is pretty obvious who is going to get the ball in a run situation. Well why not help out Achane by running some two back sets with some miss direction, make the defense guess who has the ball. Slowing down the defense even a half a second has to be beneficial. Is this somehow not doable with our blocking scheme? Is this just too simple? What am I missing? Someone please advise.
