A designated OC probably has the focus to come up with a better end of game play call than THAT abortion! I'll never let this go! Ugggggh!!

I was watching the game with some high school football coaches and they all said that teams have plays for that exact situation. Of course, they were all dumbfounded that was our play.

We can only hope that this agonizing loss will jump start this team for the rest of the season.
Got to let the Bama loss go. Learn from it and move on.

Excellent job guys. You covered many frustrating points and hit the nail on the head.

The sad thing is it seems that we come out with an even worse play/execution coming out of a timeout.

Like in the Miami game we took a timeout and then went out with only 10 men and had to rush another player out to avoid burning another timeout. That sort of thing just should not happen.

You referenced the game clock issue (3 seconds vs 6 seconds) however I can't recall y'all discussing it.

It was crucial as we may have had 2 plays instead of 1, especially if the first play was a quick slant pass to the WR.

Lots of optimism which is to be expected from Luicci. How he remains so positive about the team is another question but I get it for TexAgs writers and employees.

Saying the offensive issues are "lingering" is simply bad bull and is glossing over the real problem.

The players are doing what they need to do. This was pointed out beautifully by Luicci. Problem is, their mentors are still dumbfounded and not leading them consistently down the right path.

Jimbo is not putting them in situations to maximize success!! This is the key that is completely missed.

Sorry but blind hope is gone for me. I look for immediate signs that this offense can be a very good offense in the SEC and very little shows. Hard to ignore those facts.

This team should not be scraping for victories every season. This back half of the season should be highlighted by blow outs. You watch....every game is likely to be a dog fight due to the inept offense. We will NEVER challenge in the West regularly until this is addressed. Can we catch fire in a bottle? Maybe. But again....relying on hope.

What we see is what this team is. 6 games now. Jimbo said "no excuses" at the beginning of the season, yet, he seems to have a ton of them along with Luicci. I feel like I am at an offsite leadership conference or church event where everyone has on blinders.

If this was your business, would you stand for your COO who keeps telling you the employees are to blame for not executing your strategic plan?. Who gets the blame?

I stand on the other side of the fence until Jimbo announces substantial changes. Sadly, I am darn confident this team makes no immediate strides forward on the offensive side until another OC leads. We can slowly get better but it is limited upside. And for 5 years now, we have pretty much been talking about the same things.

We should be winning today, not next week or next year. The talent is there. The coaching talent is NOT on offense. Plain and simple. No excuses for it. Not the players, not the injuries, not the penalties....it ALL funnels down from ONE individual.

Time to grow up or get off the pot. We are laughed at because we keep following the same plan resulting in years of self-inflicted wounds. Now let's go pound some more sand and hope the players fill the gaps in a poorly coached offense.

Not a football guru....just an Aggie '79....and a Aggie football consumer since mid 60's.
So....am not not supporting the Aggies....but I can still "comment" from my level of understanding.
I'm on that "get an OC" bandwagon.
I sit and watch TCU....OK Cowboys....yes even tu....man those games....offense is so "dynamic/exciting".
I guess that is what I see....like I said I am not a guru...!!!
We have the guys....they are not being used to their ability.
Jimbo [I support him]....but he needs to be the CEO....give up the play calling...!!!
If I was a 17-18 year old football stud....deciding on a school to play for....those programs are lighting it up...!!!
If I was said 17-18 year old....I'd be hard pressed to pick the Aggies to play for....unless I was just an "Aggie diehard" recruit.
I rode/trained/showed horses professionally....I understand the elements of "growth/experience" gained in the battle....its real....our guys will get there....but Jimbo....get a OC to focus on play calling an using the guys.
Just my uneducated football comments.
