  • My earliest memories of Texas A&M baseball are of Rob Childress coaching. He's the only guy I've known here, but you've seen the writing on the wall. When it became official, it was very strange. I'll never speak a bad word about the man, but I understand the nature of the business and the standards of the athletic department leading to a move. It still wasn't easy, and I respect the man.
