2022 Bridgeland quarterback Conner Weigman commits to Texas A&M
Texas A&M has their quarterback in the 2022 recruiting class, and it comes in the form of highly-touted, dual-threat gunslinger Conner Weigman out of Bridgeland High School.
Weigman — who is also a very accomplished and extremely sought-after baseball prospect — will apply his trade both at Kyle Field and Blue Bell Park while in Aggieland.
The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder is a ton of fun to watch on tape. He makes a lot of plays from in the pocket and shows great feel for touch, timing and trajectory to all parts of the field. His spatial awareness and maneuverability in the pocket will remind Aggie fans a little bit of Johnny Manziel. Weigman plays the game with a lot of swagger and confidence.
In two seasons as a starter at Bridgeland, Weigman has thrown for over 6,300 yards and 69 touchdowns. He’s also run for another 1,310 yards and 16 scores. You can view his junior tape below.
Weigman chooses A&M over Texas, Florida, Ole Miss, Oklahoma and Auburn. He becomes the fourth overall commitment of the 2022 class and joins a strong group of future Aggies from the greater Houston area.
