2021 Cy-Fair tailback LJ Johnson Jr signs with Texas A&M

The Aggies have closed out one of their top overall targets as Cy-Fair RB LJ Johnson Jr‍ has signed on the dotted line to play with Jimbo Fisher & Co.

Johnson is the second commitment for running back coach Tommie Robinson, joining Miami (FL) stud Amari Daniels‍, and the 23rd member overall of the class of 2021.

Johnson, ranked sixth overall in the TexAgs state rankings and fifth in the Liucci 44, possesses an impressive combination of power and speed, and it is pretty easy to tell why LJ is such a highly coveted back. He’s a tough, downhill runner who has excellent vision and patience between the tackles. He also flashes some fantastic one-on-one abilities in the open field and a devastating stiff arm that slides defenders to the turf. Based on style alone, he looks like an outstanding fit for Jimbo Fisher’s downhill running scheme. You can view his junior film below.

The 5-10, 205-pounder chose the Aggies over an impressive group of offers, including LSU, Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma, Stanford, Texas, Auburn and many more.

I was in the room here one day... watchin' the Mexican channel on TV. I don't know nothin' about Pele. I'm watchin' what this guy can do with a ball and his feet. Next thing I know, he jumps in the air and flips into a somersault and kicks the ball in - upside down and backwards... the dang (sc) goalie never knew what the hell hit him. Pele gets excited and he rips off his jersey and starts running around the stadium waving it around his head. Everybody's screaming in Spanish. I'

More flat-ish. You'd have to confirm with Sideline Guy or one of the people who apparently sneak onto Kyle at night to pour out their homies' ashes, but there's actually a pronounced camber between the hashes to permit for drainage.

hmmmm. i think it basically means your OL is blowing people off the LOS so you can run north south.

Max Preps listed him as #34 for his junior and senior seasons. It doesn't show him on varsity roster (could have changed or been moved up) so safe to assume #1 was his sophomore year, but I'm only guessing.

DownHill Runner pretty much literally means that you always fall forward and almost never get hit and fall back.

Examples: Leland Mcleroy , J-Train,... Cedric Benson. Get it ? Geeez. Now go to sleep. Yes, my user name checks out. Like your wife before the free continental breakfast.
