Five-star 2021 guard Manny Obaseki commits to Texas A&M Basketball
A good day for Aggie basketball got better when five-star guard Manny Obaseki committed to Texas A&M. The 6’4” junior from Allen is a consensus national top-30 player.
Obaseki’s commitment is the second piece of good news for the Aggies on Tuesday following the announcement that first-year head coach Buzz Williams was named the SEC Coach of the Year by the Associated Press.
Williams and the Aggies are building momentum on and off the court. Obaseki joins Ada, Oklahoma guard Jaxson Robinson in the 2021 class, giving Texas A&M two national top-50 junior pledges. The addition of Obaseki pushes A&M’s current class ranking to the 1 or 2 spot with national recruiting services.
