With revenge promised, Aggies and Tigers set to face off in Death Valley

Texas A&M will travel to Baton Rouge on Saturday night for a rivalry week contest with No. 2 LSU on the heels of last year's seven-overtime thriller. While the Tigers are promising a blowout, the Aggies are looking to spoil LSU's revenge party.

The offense was setting records. The quarterback was on the way to winning the Heisman Trophy. He had two of the best receivers in the Southeastern Conference. There was a productive, yet somewhat under-appreciated, running back.

That was 2012. There certainly are some similarities to Texas A&M’s high-powered offense from seven years ago and LSU’s offense this season.

Like Johnny Manziel, LSU’s Joe Burrow appears on his way to winning the Heisman Trophy.
