On Tuesday night, thousands of Aggies gathered just outside of town to Burn The Hell Outta the 2019 Student Bonfire. Watch as the 2019 Stack goes up in flames. Warren Barhorst '88 was this year's speaker.

Great job, students, on BTHOFTAB!!! Great stack, AGGIES!

BURN THE HELL!!! This is NOT a silent memorial, it's AGGIE BONFIRE!!!

If I had left my sweat, skin, blood, and GPA on that stack (which I did from 1995-1998) I would be furious at the dainty wedding they just put on to light that fire!!

This is not intended to be a quaint candle lighting, AGS! Get ROWDY! Get LOUD!

I'm cry-laughing at the replay. One hour of talking and five minutes of burn? Come on, show at least as much burn time as talking. Or how about posting the entire livestream?

I agree with you...

They did a fantastic job with Stack, as they honestly do EVERY year.


Although it didn't burn very well in 2018, it's the building that's the important part.

When they lit Stack this year and the whole thing was engulfed in flames, I actually had tears in my eyes because I felt like the 12 Fallen Aggies were looking down and feeling so proud of this beautiful site. I was so proud and honored to have John Comstock help light Stack.

I talked with him that night and he said he felt like this was his Bonfire he finally got to see burn.

With the students already holding a remembrance ceremony on November 18 each year, part of me feels that the 12 Fallen names should also be read every year before Stack is lit because they made the ultimate sacrifice for Bonfire. Just my opinion.
