On if Shantel Hutton is OK:

She’s ok, she went to the hospital that night. They did a CTE on her and she came up clear. She obviously had a cracker of a headache all weekend, she was concussed. But there’s no type of long term damage, she’s on the road to recovery. I don’t know when she’ll start her return protocol. We’ve got to wait for those headaches to stop but I appreciate all the prayers and people thinking about her and her well being. We’ve had lots of nice messages from folks around the country.

On what they’ve learned after a 3-1 loss:

Well, we’ll look at it. You actually learn more from losing than sometimes what you learn from winning so we’ve got to look at it, really every part of it. You’ve got to look at the physical part of it, you’ve got to look at the technical part of it. Were we able to create what we want to create? No we weren’t so how can you approve on that, we’ve got to look at the way we’ve lined up, are there better ways for us to defend against their set plays and what they do but also just in the flow of the match and how they play so those are all really good self-analysis issues we’ve been going through all weekend looking at it. Because the games don’t get any easier. Vanderbilt is a really hard game. They’re really good at home so we’ve got to make some positive adjustments and get ready for a team that are the defending champions.

On what they’ll target against Vanderbilt:

Well, I mean it’s more about trying to deal with the things they do well. They’re very good at getting the ball wide. They’ve got very good players on the flanks that can go one versus one and go to goal or they can go one versus one and set up crosses. They’ve got very good players there so we’re going to have to deal with their ability to win balls in the air we’re going to have to deal with their ability to possess the ball they’re very good on possession and we’re going to have to make it to where when they do these things that they do them in parts of the field that we determine and not dangerous parts of the field.

On what they’ll target against Missouri:

Missouri are another really athletic team we know Missouri. That’s the team we’ve played the most of anyone in the SEC because of our BIG 12 days with them. Their coach is a former college teammate of mine, closest of friends so with them it’ll be a matter of if we can keep Sarah Luebbert in check. They’re very very good upfront. Can we find ways to play on the break against them. Often times against Missouri it’s a wide open end to end type of game we’d like to make it a little less frantic if possible.
