• I have never seen a situation where people think the baseball coach of a top ten team might get fired because the Athletic Director just left. You only see that kind of stuff at Texas A&M.
   
• Texas A&M has to go out and find someone who knows and understands the innerworkings of the SEC. I think Texas A&M will be fine, but they must find a solid replacement for Woodward. If you’re A&M, I think you have to go out and make a big splash, which means you might have to overpay someone.
   
• Woodward made two good hires, stayed out of the spotlight, and did everything well. It will be tough to replace that kind of guy.
   
• There are flaws to this Texas A&M baseball team, but every team has flaws. What’s weird about Texas A&M is that Hunter Coleman’s injury hurt their offense so drastically. I would have never guessed he would be the guy who would have that much of an impact on their hitting.
   
• I think Vanderbilt will win the SEC tournament. My runner up would be Mississippi State. Both of those teams were really rolling when they were healthy earlier in the year, and I think they will get back to that once the tournament rolls around.
   
• I think the SEC will get at lest five or six teams in the tournament. When you look at the schedule, A&M is almost guaranteed a top six spot. Texas A&M’s remaining schedule is still really favorable. They get to play Arkansas and Mississippi State in College Station which really benefits them.
   
• People need to check out Patrick McColl from Harvard. Not only is he a good hitter, but he is starting to get a lot of attention from MLB scouts. As for what series to watch this weekend, I am really interested in watching Florida play at LSU. Texas playing at Oklahoma State is another series to keep an eye on.
