gabe, thanks so much for the videos. Just love the Ronnie Peret video. I entered A&M in the fall of 1968 and saw most of the home games. remember Ronnie so well, as well as Sonny Benefield, Mike Heitman and Billy Bob Barnett. G. Rollie White was a great place to watch basketball.

I had a Soil Mechanics class with Cody Risien after he had started playing pro but came back in the spring to finish his degree. I remember he had to duck his head to walk through the door opening, which is 6'8". Nice guy.

The Chet Brooks video was just wonderful to watch as well. Some of our younger TexAgs members should make the effort to watch these videos...they speak so well of our school and former players.

Just hearing Ronnie Peret mention Edd Hargett's name (QB on 1968 Cotton Bopwl champion), and to know Edd was at the ceremony there was neat. Edd used to play basketball in our pickup games at Deware...very smart, extraordinarily coordinated kid who was very athletic. He'd usually come with Curly Hallman, another A&M great.
