Abysmal first inning dooms Texas A&M in disappointing season finale

AUSTIN — Verbal pats of the back will be given. A spirited against-all-odds effort will be praised.

Despite falling behind by nine runs in a disastrous first inning, they stubbornly fought back before falling to Indiana, 9-7, in an Austin Region elimination baseball game on Sunday at Disch-Falk Field.
