Watch Christian Kirk perform at the 2018 NFL Combine
Wide receiver Christian Kirk is Texas A&M's most high-profile participant at the 2018 NFL Combine and has his eyes on the draft's first round, so naturally, he wanted to put on a good performance for the scouts and coaches in attendance.
He did just that.
Kirk began the most important job interview of his life by (modestly) invoking the name of one of the greatest to ever play the game and giving a stellar interview on the NFL Network:
Then he turned his attention to the physical aspect of the game.
After putting up 20 reps on the bench press (good for fourth-best in the wide receiver position group), Kirk showed of his top-end speed in the 40-yard dash, posting an official time of 4.47 seconds:
The Aggie wideout capped off his time on screen by absolutely acing the gauntlet drill:
