2018 ATH Vernon Jackson commits to Texas A&M

Jimbo Fisher has landed a commitment from Boling ATH Vernon Jackson‍ today. Jackson is the 23rd commitment to join Texas A&M's 2018 class and was previously committed to Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The super-sized, super-versatile playmaker has played quarterback, running back, kick returner, defensive end and punter in his high school career. A state champion as a junior, the 6-3, 245-pounder has been a prime target of the Aggie staff since Fisher’s arrival in College Station.

Ultimately, the Aggies won this battle over the aforementioned Crimson Tide, as well as TCU and Texas.
