Arizona Western DT Mohamed Diallo signs with Texas A&M
There was a feeling there could be a few surprises during the first ever early signing period. As the window for recruits to sign before the new year closed, the Aggies welcomed an absolutely huge one, when Arizona Western defensive tackle Mohamed Diallo decided to ink with Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies.
The 6-foot-4, 320-pound defender’s decision comes on the heels of his official visit to College Station last weekend. After the visit, he decided to decommit from Oregon on Tuesday. Diallo actually made it official and signed earlier in the week, but he wanted to wait and make his public announcement on Saturday.
Diallo is originally from Toronto, Ontario and did not play football in high school. He emerged as a standout at Arizona Western, and he will have three years to play two seasons at Texas A&M.
