Head coach Jimbo Fisher addresses the 12th Man at Reed Arena
Texas A&M football coach Jimbo Fisher is the hottest topic in College Station at the moment, and expectations for the program are at an all-time high. Fisher got a chance to address those expectations while speaking to the 12th Man at Reed Arena during the men's basketball game against Prairie View A&M.
"Great to be in Aggieland. It really is," Fisher said. "I can't wait to set foot this spring on Kyle Field with the 12th Man and Fightin' Texas Aggie Band when we set the record for the most-attended spring game in NCAA history.
"I've always said this is a wonderful place. It's an amazing place, and everybody is telling me, 'My expectations are very high.' Well, they're never going to imagine mine. My expectations are always going to be higher.
"We've got some great people here, a great organization, and we're looking forward to winning the SEC and going to that national championship."
