Honestly, I don't even know why they have a press conference after the game. Not one reporter asked him any tough questions, just your typical BS questions!

He's as clueless on the field as he's off the field, good riddance to him!

The press is scared to death of Sumlin. No hard questions after game. What is our future without a QB? Mond can't throw as a freshman and you can't coach passing accuracy. He will not improve. Looks completely clueless on the field. He is not a college QB. Don't you wish we played teams with a such a poor QB? But, keep Sumlin. Who can we get who will be better.

His first answer was revealing. He actually thinks the team was prepared (coaching) but didn't execute (players).

He won't ever man up to shoulder a loss and admit he does a lousy job most of the time.

What a loser. If he wants to quit then he should quit. Don't run the program into the ground just to force a firing and get more money.

Someone needs to ask, " What kind grade would you give a coaching staff that failed to have their team ready to play in any phase of the game after a bye week."

Some of these answers are pathetic ... "the thought never crossed my mind" to replace Mond?

He has been playing and coaching football his entire life, and the thought most definitely crossed his mind - which means that statement is a flat out lie.

Just be honest and say ... "yes, the thought crossed my mind, but I thought Kellen gave us the best chance to win the game"

Hadn't seen the presser until now. Dumlin must be stupid or drunk. Your starting qb is 5 for a 100 passing for 5 first downs and it never crosses your mind to put in your backup who happened to be the starter at the beginning of the year when you put up 40 on UCLA in 3 quarters??? How stupid or drunk must Dumlin be? He's gotta go. It's time. Get anybody in there.

Or how about our athletic department actually lets in a reporter that will ask real non pre-screened questions. We have the crappiest interviews asking questions.
If they go off their q-cards, will they be banned from future pressers ?

That is part of the problem. He is arrogant and loyal to a player at the expense of the team.

Coach, you saved Mond the embarrassment of being pulled early. That is great. How do you think that decision impacted the rest of the team?

None of those obsequious apple polishers are going to ask that. You would think they would live for the chance to tell truth to power. Instead they slurp up every last word he says.
