That was a lackluster performance last night. Aggies gave that match away with runs of points. Up 17-16 in set two they lose the next nine points to give away the second set. Ahead in the third set by a wide margin the give away a 6-7 point run to allow them to tie it and then lose. Passing was behind the 10 foot line a lot and the set location/timing with the middles was probably the worst at home this season. Add to the 26 hitting errors and 4-5 net violations they beat themselves. Other than Pilar Victoria for Arkansas not one player stood out to me to where this shouldn't have been a sweep for TAMU instead of a sweep by Arkansas. This likely ends the potential playoff run early in the season as we would have to beat Kentucky or Florida (two top five teams) and Nissouri and Arkansas on the road who beat us at home just to be a game shy of .500 for the season.

Production which we normally get from Hans wasn't there tonight however McGee stepped up as did Maddie Douglas in the middle even with a below average connection with the setter last night. RS production was negative with only real production from the RS being the effective block by Reasor in set three to take the huge lead we gave away
I had high hopes for this team even with the injuries and loss of Aiple due to medical retirement but passing collectively hasn't improved and teams are beginning to target players who have passed poorly over the season
I hope they can start a new streak and get in another winning run but I am afraid it will be too late and no room for error. The loss last night took away any room for error and caused us to have to win two that in paper we shouldn't
